Colleen Schell, Director of Business Development, MindTime Inc.

Colleen Schell is a strategic marketing and business development consultant with a passion for making a difference. She currently is working with clients interested in making a global impact with their product, services, and resources. Before becoming a consultant Colleen worked as the VP of Marketing for ecoAmerica where she created national marketing programs aimed at "environmentally agnostic" Americans in order to change behaviors. She was able to utilize proprietary research from ecoAmerica's research partner Standford Research Institute to identify constituencies that were on a "tipping point" to move. Because of this and the strategic partners her and her team signed on, she was able to launch four successful national environmental programs in a short amount of time and are still alive and growing today. This includes The American College & University President's Climate Commitment and Nature Rocks.

Before joining the environmental army, Colleen worked as the Director of Business Development and Specialized Projects at Carat, the world's only independent global communications agency. During her time at Carat, Colleen played a pivotal role in growing the agency and had the honor of securing and growing some of leading brands in the world including Microsoft, Gateway, Sony, Intel, and CBS.

Towards the beginning of her career, Colleen launched and grew the international channel and programming department for TechTV by traveling the globe to market and sell the vision and content to over 20 territories worldwide.

Colleen has her BA in Communications from the University of North Carolina.
